For years, we have been supplying high-quality HTV elastomers (heat-vulcanizable) produced by Elkem Silicones and other leading international manufacturers. Additionally, we offer products under our own brand.

We offer special HTV silicone compounds, which are enhanced with mineral reinforcing fillers, filtered, colored, and also available as ready-to-use formulations. These compounds can also be accelerated with specific vulcanization agents chosen according to the application requirements.

 

We formulate and produce two-component room-temperature-vulcanizing (RTV-2) rubbers based on condensation cure, utilizing tin catalysts. These rubbers are castable, fast-curing, and provide excellent detail reproduction of the model with easy release. Depending on the application, our RTVs are characterized by:

We specialize in the original study and formulation of additives to enhance the application performance of our silicone range. These additives include heat-resistant additives, flame retardants, precursors for platinum catalysis, rheology modifiers, slip agents, and additives to enhance electrical and thermal conductivity.

 

We have developed a range of anti-reversion stabilizing additives, formulated to control hydrolysis and to protect the peroxide vulcanization process, for use in the compounding of HTV silicone elastomers filled with quartz and other mineral fillers. Our anti-hydrolysis additives find particular application in the production of silicone compounds for spin-casting of Zamak and other metals.

We offer a range of silicone emulsions, which are blends of insoluble silicone polymers finely dispersed according to various concentrations in an aqueous suspension.
These are used where the use of pure silicone fluids is not feasible. Whether used pure or diluted, these emulsions serve multiple needs, acting as release agents in rubber molding, softeners and anti-static polishes in the textile industry, gloss enhancers in household and car cleaning products, and anti-adhesives for the stripping of electrical cables.

Comar's range of water-based silicone emulsions also includes specific antifoam formulations, which can be used to control and eliminate foam in industrial production processes, significantly reducing production times and costs.

We manufacture silicone products in the form of pastes or greases by thickening fluid silicone bases with specific additives and mineral fillers chosen based on the desired application and degree of fluidity, viscosity, and thixotropy.

Our silicone greases are made homogeneous and rheologically stable through refining in a three-roll mill. These products are used for lubricating rubber and metal components at high and low temperatures, for heat dissipation in engines and electrical systems, and for sealing electrical cables for underwater or gas-tight applications.

The color pastes are characterized by their excellent dispersion in the rubber with any type of mixer and by their marked coloring power even in particularly loaded compounds.

We offer two-component pourable rubbers vulcanizable at room temperature, characterized by high fluidity and elasticity, very rapid polymerization, and great dimensional stability.
Specifically for the cosmetics industry, we have developed formulations of RTV silicones intended for the production of lipstick silicone molds, to be used to fill lipsticks starting from bulk formulations and assemble sticks with automatic systems (soft-mould technology).

The range of silicone oils offered by Comar is made up of non-reactive polymeric fluids covering a wide viscosity scale (starting from 50 cSt). They are characterized by low surface tension, excellent oxidation resistance, and can be used over an extended temperature range (from -50°C to +250°C). This makes them suitable for various applications such as lubricants, anti-adhesives, plasticizers, additives in maintenance products, formulations for paints and varnishes, etc.

 

We offer silicone-based anti-adhesive products in liquid or spray form, designed for use in rubber and plastic molding, for repeated or semi-permanent action, on cold or hot molds.

 

Additionally, we provide non-silicone solutions, synthetic, including PTFE-based, useful where working in silicone-free environments is necessary or where molded parts need to undergo subsequent finishing operations (painting, chrome plating, bonding).

 

Our silicone sprays can also be used in the cosmetic industry for extracting lipsticks from metal molds during the filling phase.
